This training is for bodyworkers who are already excellent at what they do.

But keep in mind that this certification is not all woo-woo. It is grounded in millennia-old practices of Chinese medicine. You'll learn potent acupressure points and all fourteen meridians. You’ll be taught 360-degree strokes that envelop the body and are efficient and effective for releasing tension. You will learn polyphonic overtones, creating 2-3 pitches at once, and how to apply them to the body. You will learn how to give a 100% supine full-body massage, real foot reflexology, hand-releasing techniques, and other techniques that can make even a caffeinated person drift into a parasympathetic response.

The idea for the Body Journey Massage Experience was born during a session in 1994. In my Mill Valley office at dusk, listening to cosmic music, I felt drawn to occasionally pause on specific acupressure points. I felt my client’s chi pulsing as she drifted in and out of consciousness. Coming back into her body, the client exclaimed, “Wow! That felt like the psychedelic journeys that I do with my therapist." I responded without much thought, "well, it is a journey with your body. A Body Journey." We chuckled – the idea was born. Thirty years later, the inspiration has fully matured into an outstanding massage treatment that provides clients with a unique and transformative experience.
